Your data stays with you.

Sophia stores everything locally in your browser using PGlite (a WebAssembly PostgreSQL database). No data is ever sent to a server. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking.

No cookies

We do not use cookies, analytics, or any form of tracking. The only external request is an anonymous telemetry beacon (a single counter increment) that does not identify you in any way. This can be disabled by adding ?admin_mode=true to the URL.

Data portability

You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from the Settings page.

Right to erasure

You can permanently delete all data from the Settings page. This action is immediate and irreversible. You can also clear your browser's storage directly at any time.

GDPR & Sovereignty

Because no data leaves your device, GDPR compliance is inherent. You are the sole controller and processor of your data.
